This Thanksgiving, One Big 4 Firm Is Helping You Avoid Food Poisoning and Creepy Uncles

Turkey

Big 4 accounting firms have gotten into lots of non-accounting business in recent years, like legal services and beef barcodes. But now Deloitte wants to add “food poisoning” to its suite of services.

“As a firm, we’re dedicated to helping our clients identify, measure, and mitigate risk,” writes Deloitte about their 52 card deck of safety tips. “So we created these cards to provide suggestions for how we can all take small steps to improve safety in our daily lives—whether at work or at home.”

Now, maybe it’s just me being dense because I may have gotten an early start on the holiday and am already getting into the sauce, but I can’t seem to pull up the actual deck. Maybe you’ll have better luck.

Remember, kids: Deloitte cares. Not sure I can say the same about your Uncle Harold, so don’t trust him when he tries to get you to sit on his lap later today. Happy Turkey Day, you turkeys!
