I stumbled across this on YouTube yesterday. This CohnReznick “anthem” isn’t an accounting firm anthem in the traditional sense, not like this horrible Deloitte one or some of the bad Big 4 anthems of years gone by. The CohnReznick one was actually a commercial that aired on TV and radio a few years back. But it’s titled “CohnReznick Anthem” on YouTube so we’re running with it.
Here’s the “anthem” in question:
Now in a visual sense, you can tell that CR likely sank a lot of money into this TV spot, hoping to entice people or companies to do business with them (clients that Mazars USA probably stole from CohnReznick). But all of the people in the video’s comments section were WAY more interested in the song, which BTW doesn’t mention CohnReznick at all and is pretty much a bunch of “to break through” sung over and over again:

When people are more interested in who sang or the name of your dance-pop jingle than your brand or the services you provide, I’d say this should go in the “Failed Accounting Firm Advertising” column.
But hey, CR’s video did get more views than this interview Doug McHoney of PwC did with Caleb a couple years back, so that’s something to be proud of, I guess.
