Risk avoidance

Hey all,

I am about to graduate from a top Masters in Accounting program and just received a full time offer for a firm in their Risk Consulting practice in a large city. I like the firm and the city, and the offer is solid but I don’t want to be stuck in risk. I noticed they also have openings in other advisory groups I’d be more interested in, however I already interviewed and received an offer for risk practice.

Should I:

a) accept the risk offer and attempt to transfer after 1-2 years (either practices or firm)?

b) try to negotiate/interview into one of the other advisory groups?

c) ask for a rotation in one of the other advisory groups?

Or am I screwed and stuck doing risk or trying to continue to interview at other firms?

Advice would be appreciated
