I had some questions about tax practice in Big 4 Atlanta office.
If you could answer questions below, it’d be great.
1) If you had worked in Atlanta office, or if you are currently working, could you share how many people are working in Tax? (especially in federal/international tax groups)
2) What are the major industries in Atlanta? Based on my research, I see there are lots of real estate clients and F500 companies. Is there good number of financial institutions?
3) If I want to transfer into M&A tax group with a master’s degree in accounting, should I start off in federal tax group? I heard M&A tax group actually falls under the international tax group, and was curious if international tax is the right place to start.
