How the hell do I get out of Florida?

So I recently interned at a Big 4 firm in a city in Florida. I am 22 years old, and appalled that I actually STILL live here. I went to a mediocre Florida public university, from which, all our students get pushed into the office in which our university is located. I tried very hard during the internship recruiting process to be placed in an office NOT in Florida–but to no avail. Everyone says it'll be easier after the internship, but I'm not seeing any light at the end of the tunnel, and I don't think I'll be seeing it anytime soon.

I accepted a FT offer with the firm in this cultural wasteland of a city, and am now very concerned that I am stuck until I have effectively burnt myself out in public accounting–which wont be until, at earliest, 2017. So my question to those who have managed an office-switch, HOW DID YOU DO IT? Did you have to wait until senior? Did you harrass HR until they were happy to see you leave? Or did you just eventually give up and accept your losses?

Please help me escape.
