Grover Norquist: No Matter What, Taxes Aren’t Going Up

GOP drum major Grover Norquist was interviewed by the Washington Post's Suzy Khimm and you'll be absolutely FLOORED to learn that they discussed taxes. Mostly, the discussion focused was on what would happen to various taxes after the election – what happens if Romney is elected, what happens if Obama is re-elected, what happens in each scenario if there is a GOP Senate, so on and so forth.

The exchange comes down to this:
[Suzy Khimm]: So you don’t see any of the Bush tax cuts expiring for any income group, regardless of who’s elected?
[Grover Norquist]: No, because Republicans will oppose allowing any tax cuts to expire or not be restored after Jan 1. Dems will fear economic slowdown from tax cuts…just as they did two years ago.
Republican short and curlies still belong to the Grovenator.
