FASB Finishes Talks on Revenue Recognition [CW]

Gerald A. Poynter, also known as "Brother Jerry Love," admitted to leading a tax fraud conspiracy in which co-conspirators from eight states filed fraudulent tax returns seeking $96 million in refunds. The IRS mistakenly paid out $3.5 million of those refunds to Poynter and other filers, including "branch managers" who recruited conspiracy participants.
