Are You Hiring Accountants During the Pandemic? We Want to Know

Ugh, it seems like every day we’re writing about some new round of layoffs, pay cuts, or furloughs in public accounting. It’s pretty depressing. So now’s the time to focus on something good—and help out accountants who recently lost their jobs during the COVID-19 crisis.

By now you’ve probably seen the tracker on our home page of public accounting firm austerity measures that unfortunately we’ve been updating almost daily. Well, we want to start a new tracker—this one will keep tabs of businesses looking to fill open accounting positions.

We’re opening this up to public accounting firms, companies with vacancies in their accounting/finance departments, and even nonprofits that need to hire some accounting help.

If you have an accounting seat sitting cold and unused, we want to help you fill it with a warm body.

Here’s all we need from you:

  • Firm/company name, location of the job, and if it is an office position or remote.
  • Job title (we will publish up to three open accounting positions at your firm/company).
  • Link to a Careers page on your website.

If we list an accounting job of yours in our Hiring Tracker that eventually gets filled, please let us know and we’ll remove it.

That’s it. Easy right? Let’s help out accountants who’ve hit some hard times get back in the game.

If you want to have your open accounting positions listed in our Hiring Tracker, just send the info we need to [email protected] and put “Hiring Tracker” in the subject line.
