Hello All,
I am currently a FY associate at a large firm and my alma mater is playing in the national championship next monday. It is a relatively small office, but I am currently unassigned next week along with some of the other new hires. I spoke with my coach and our busy season doesnt really rev up until the third week of January. With that said, I asked my coach about going to the game. Obviously it is January and you arent supposed to take time off. HR said it should be ok, but I have to talk to the higher ups.
My worry is that when our year end review process rolls around, it will be brought up in my review and negatively reflect on me. Any thoughts?
