McGladrey and Dave Scudder Can’t Quit Each Other

The man who once led McGladrey as its managing partner, Dave Scudder, is now returning to the firm he once led, McGladrey, as…well, not managing partner. It's a…well, here, read the Mickey G's press release:

McGladrey LLP, the nation's leading provider of assurance, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market, recently launched a strategy to serve emerging middle market companies. Former Managing Partner Dave Scudder will lead the innovative initiative, which will use technology, tools and processes specifically designed to help companies in this unique market succeed.
Actually, if you keep reading (which I don't recommend you do unless you simply can't get enough canned quotes in your life) DS's new position is "national leader of emerging business strategies." That sounds like it's something.

After spending 24-ish years at McGladrey, Scuds left the firm in 2011 and in that time he's been "work[ing] with a firm focused on recruiting executives to fill senior-level vacancies at emerging middle market companies."

As rousing as that sounds, it appears that McG and Scudder were still looking for a way to be a part of each other's lives and this middle market strategy something something. This kind of a reunion undoubtedly calls for some refreshments, don't you think?

Congrats all around.
