Florida Man Didn’t Play the Part of a Dunkin’ Donuts Auditor Too Well

When impersonating an auditor, there are certain distinguishing features and mannerisms that you must employ to successfully dupe your mark. A person rocking banal business casual threads, schlepping a backpack, wearing sensible spectacles, and a tidy haircut works in way of appearance. As far as behavior is concerned, generally speaking, you should always try to refrain from exhibiting too much personality and communication should be a notch or two above Neanderthal. And lastly, you have to stay composed. Auditors are poised individuals, so you should come across as a steadfast corporate professional who has a job to do in a professional manner and GTFO. This, on the other hand. This is what you don't do:

The Orange County Sheriff's Office said Ricardo Diaz, 48, convinced employees at the Alafaya Trail doughnut shop in Orlando that he has been sent from the company's corporate headquarters to conduct an audit and talked them into pulling out the register drawer, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported Tuesday. Diaz allegedly grabbed cash from the drawer and attempted to flee while the workers were in a back room but he was stopped by witnesses about 200 yards from the shop and held until deputies arrived.
