Last Thursday, all sorts of auditors who don't know what hashtags are bumrushed social media to tell #AuditorProud stories. I don't know whether or not #AuditorProud was ever trending on Twitter, but I do know that whatever people were tweeting, it was more worthy of your time than anything Donald Trump managed to share.
Now, if you're a tax person, you may have felt left out of all the fun/wasting billable hours. But, really, in your heart of hearts, you know that auditors are just a bunch of box-ticking dopes that would run away shrieking at the mere sight of a 1040. They need something like #AuditorProud to convince themselves that they aren't a drag on the firm's value and that their platitudes aren't a bunch of hooey.
But not you tax folks. You toss around citations to impress your friends and mock TV people when they try to make jokes about the tax code. You don't need a hashtag to make yourselves feel good, right? Right? RIGHT?!

#TaxIsSexy is a thing.
Alright, fine.Although #TaxIsSexy has a longer lame hashtag history, #AuditorProud's strong showing from last Thursday firmly puts them ahead in terms of numbers and popularity. I'm sure this isn't over (unfortunately).
