A CFO received a payout between $475,000 and $575,000 after reporting securities fraud that wasn't being properly addressed by the company's internal compliance system. Normally, a person isn't eligible for an award when (s)he hears about it from another, however, the SEC makes an exception after knowledge is possessed by "responsible compliance personnel" who doesn't take appropriate action after 120 days.
