Opportunity #1: Senior Consultant / Excel Wizard
Duration: 9 months’ minimum
Location: North Atlanta (local resources only)
Rate: $60 – $80 per hour

The Role:
A medical device technology and manufacturing company was recently acquired by a larger technology firm. The accounting and finance operations team is seeking a freelance CPA to assist with revenue recognition, fixed assets and other balance sheet accounts, and most importantly, ad hoc reporting and FP&A projects.
The company is actively acquiring companies and selling certain divisions, and leaning heavily on their ex-big 4 accounting team for the critical data and reports to make these vital business decisions.
This freelancer will work directly with the Director of Finance and Corporate Controller.
This is a great opportunity for a CPA that enjoys the project-based nature of public accounting and the real-world application of working in industry. Unlike some corporate accounting roles, there will be minimal repetitive work over the course of these 9+ months.

Opportunity #2: Interim CFO/COO
Duration: 3-6 months
Location: NYC (open to consultants willing to travel – all expenses paid and half rate for travel time)
Rate: $100 – $140 per hour
Required experience: 15+ years’ experience
The Role:
A textile-based athletic accessories start-up has taken PE funding, and is looking to professionalize its accounting, finance and operations department. This mid-market consumer products company needs an interim CFO or COO with experience working with entrepreneurial companies.
This candidate should lean on experience managing procurement and inventory buys from Asia for a product with a long lead time and uncertain demand. The role will also require cash management, coordination with existing lenders, and restructuring.
This position will culminate in multiple presentations to a Board and PE investors.
We need to fill this position asap, thus the openness for travel.

We are still gathering information as to the specifics of this role. Preliminarily, we know that this candidate will lead a financial transformation of a 10 person project team. This will include process implementation, systems assessments, and financial reporting responsibilities.
