All, I have been an M&A Attorney (focus on tax due diligence and deal structuring) for 2 years. I have a JD from top 50 law school and a tax LLM from NYU. I was with one of the Big4 for three years before law school in advisory. I am thinking about making the switch to one of the Big4 transaction advisory services . . . I enjoy the technical and due diligence side of M&A deals more than the “legal” side. Would a service line like EY Transaction Tax be a good fit? How competitive would I be as a senior associate or manager level?
