Jobs that have business knowledge

What kinds of jobs will give me experience in understanding business/solving business problems? I have accounting background with CPA, but don’t want to just keep track numbers everyday.

I think you should refine your question and distill down what types of business problems you’d want to solve? M&A? Transaction Services? FP&A? Systems Integration?

CPAs can do a lot if they don’t pigeon hole themselves and let their aspergers take over.

Consulting. But to be a consultant at a top firm, you basically need an MBA from a top 10, which your grammar skills point to the contrary.

It’ll be hard to ever get away from numbers, what you can do is to change what you do with them within your job function. If you are good at excel/access/sql you can transition to an FP&A group within corporate. Or if you have some Audit experience and like to work with processes, you can transition to a Business Analyst on the IT side.
