Founded in 2007, TaxConnex currently employs in excess of thirty professionals providing services to companies throughout the United States. Industries represented by our client base include, technology, telecommunications, leasing, contracting, and manufacturing.


Ideal candidates will have 2 to 3 years professional working experience in public accounting or business operations, be independent/self-motivated, comfortable interacting/communicating with C-level executives, and seeking a long-term opportunity in tax operations. Candidates should be detail oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills and proven leadership skills

Responsibilities for Tax Operations Manager:

  • Develop, maintain and improve processes and procedures; including enhancements to infrastructure
  • Develop middleware process for data manipulation and summarization using Excel or Access
  • Manage and develop professional tax preparers
  • Execute compliance process as required to manage and improve process
  • Setup file import specifications in sales tax return software package
  • Troubleshoot and solve data related problems
  • Tax research and interpretation of law
  • Data reconciliation

Qualifications for Tax Operations Manager:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit or Tax
  • Sales and use tax experience a plus but not necessary
  • Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office Software Suite (primarily Excel and Word)
  • Experience working with high volume data in a flat file format (.csv, .txt)
  • Excellent Customer Service (Communication / Written)
